Editorial Reviews:
Product Description GOTCHA WRIST STRAP is a safe bet. It wraps snugly and comfortably around the wrist and attaches easily to a camera, binoculars or video camera. The Velcro fastener forms a secure, yet adjustable closure. The quick disconnect enables the user to quickly remove the strap when changing film and batteries or to switch to an OP/TECH USA shoulder or neck strap. The GOTCHA WRIST STRAP gives the user a second chance should their hand slip out of the camera handle. OP/TECH USA has "gotcha" covered with the GOTCHA WRIST STRAP.

Camera Wrist Strap - always a good idea January 19, 2008 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
OP/TECH 6701252 Gotcha Wrist Strap This is a wider, more comfortable wrist strap than any that will come in the camera box as an "free" accessory. I prefer the comfort and security of these wider, padded velcro straps.
Everyone knows what a wrist strap does and some of us have had to let go of the camera suddenly. This strap won't cut into your wrist when that happens. (It has happened to me while walking the dogs.)
As a matter of fact they are comfortable to have on your wrist and so you won't resent it or forget to use it. My wrist is so used to wearing this kind of strap that I feel uneasy if it isn't in place first.
There are wider straps out there and I prefer them but I did order this one for my husband who really doesn't care but likes to shoot out the window as we drive along. He can feel the strap in place and knows that he can point and shoot (without a nag from me.)
It is not easy to insert into that tiny slot on the camera. I just used the original strap because I was in a hurry and attached this strap to that strap. One of these days....
