I got this camera about a month ago. It does a lot of different things. It is a digital camera, video recorder, voice recorder, plays music mp3 files, can record movies and shows from tv. It does not however do the main things I wanted from it which is the video recorder and digital camera function exceptionally well. It is also complex to figure out all of the different settings and the manual does NOT tell you everything you need to know. It is very hard to operate if you have large fingers like myself. I was trying to delete one picture that I took that was blurry and in fumbling with the button actually dleted ALL 90 pictures that I took on my vacation! I was devastated. It does however give you to the option to take a lot of pictures using the various resolutions (over 1500 under the 5 mp resolution). Overall I would say it is a good buy for what it does but is not perfect.
