I love it for multiple reasons, top among them is the feel. I have arthritus in my hands and stopped reading hard bound books several years ago. Now I can read the latest books and not have to wait for the paperback (which are also uncomfortable for me to hold). And the ability to change the print size is fabulous. Also, instead of going to the store and buying 10-15 books at a time, I can buy what I want to read one book at at time. It may even save me money, especially with the try-me feature at Amazon for the first chapter -- gotta love that!! And, the ability to search a topic and read about all the available books, while lying in bed is fun, relaxing and just right for me. Love it!

I love my Kindle but I cannot pick up Whispernet in my area. I have to drive about 40 miles to get service.

This Kindle is just a fantastic product.
I am just so pleased with every aspect of the Kindle .
It has a picture perfect screen,you can see in any light .
So very easy to navigate all the features.
A must have for all readers.
Ordering books on Amazon is a breeze.
Overall the best new Product on the market this year

The Kindle is a great tool for those of us that are constant readers. It is expensive and seems to only carry the leading best sellers which is a drawback for me. There are older books that I would love to read again that I believe should be available to me via my Kindle. At the high cost of the Kindle I believe there should be some books offered free with the purchase of a Kindle. Another improvement would be to have the pages lit so one could read in reduced light.
I sometimes wonder if the books being offered through my Kindle are abridged versions of the books I would buy in the store. My reason for stating this is that I read a book much faster on my Kindle than I did with a hardback or pocketbook version.

This is a Christmas gift from my children to me, I did order it and know about it but they will not let me use it until Christmas. I am so excited to use it and it sounds great. I did look at the instruction manual and found it did not really tell me how to use it. Where do I get instructions? Also I was disappointed when I looked at the kindle store that you do not have most of the type of books I prefer. As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints I mostly read LDS books. Will you, in the future, please offer books published by Deseret Book. There is a huge LDS reading community out there and many are very avid readers. Thank you for your wonderful product.
