After trying out seven different 37mm telephoto lenses for my camcorder, this one does the job. The price was higher than I wanted to pay, however, this one offers a very crisp shot without the blurred distortion of the other telephotos I tried. There is some slight color distortion, but it's only noticable in digital still shots that are blown up. For a 3x5 photo, it looks fine, and it's definitely clean enough for video. This lens joins my Sony Wide-Angle in my bag, and they are both very high quality glasses. I highly recommend this lens if you can afford the price tag, as you won't be disappointed. I can now sit in my seat at the Chargers games and take video and still shots that make one think I was down on the field. Nice!
