This "back-up" battery has now become the standard battery as it lasts much longer than the battery that came with our camcorder. It is great and provides several hours of recording for us. We plan to purchase another as the "back-up" to this one.

I bought this spare battery to be used with my GS80 camcorder. This battery is made in Japan. The battery that came with my camcorder is made in China. The item arrived much earlier than I expected (as I chose free shipping). Great product and thanks Amazon.
